It has been confirmed that after 72 years of being on air that Guiding Light is being canceled. We CANNOT let this come to pass! It's time to stand up and support the t.v. show that we watch everyday and take captions of to make banners and icons and wallpapers. Or else it won't be on the air anymore for us to do so.

And it's not about just that. This story has touched a lot of people's lives. Every aspect of this show has. I know it's touched mine. It's been a part of me my whole life and there is so many emotions and so much pain that I have in me that's tied to this show, you have no idea.

It's not just the show in general. I'm worried about my favorite actors and actresses. Crystal Chappell and Jessica Leccia have touched my life in so many ways that I could set here and write a book on it. I'm worried about them. I know they are probably hurting and upset and THAT effects me. THAT hurts me. When they get effected by something I do too and its not just me, it's their whole fan base.

We use their beautiful pictures everyday to make graphics and icons and wallpapers to share with people. Them being on the t.v. and showing how brilliant their acting is to allow us to do what we love, which is to support them and make icons of them and it's only fair that we HELP THEM now and we SHOW OUR SUPPORT for them NOW! It's our turn to take care of them and everyone else that is affected by the show!

So this is why I'm posting it in my icon journal. I'm posting it in all of my accounts, blogs, journals and everything I can get my hands on to expose more people to the problem and hopefully to get more help!

So I've said enough, please take the time to e-mail and snail mail these people using the addresses listed below. And please be articulate and intelligent and don't use hateful words. They WILL dis guard those types of letters. Show you genuinely care and you are mature.

Ok guys. This might be my last icon post for a long time. I feel its time to move on now and worry about more important things in my life. That my life depends on. I love iconing and its fun but there are more important things to worry about in life.

If I ever do get some down time and a time to relax I WILL make more icons again, don't worry. But for now I need to get my priorities straightened out and do something more meaningful with my life. Thank you for all the comments, good or bad. Thank you for all the friendships. I love you all. <3
